Correct Answer: 88 employees

Explanation:

Total employees = 1000

52% female employees = $\frac{25×1000}{100}$= 520 employees

48% male employees =$\frac{48×1000}{100}$= 480 employees

Among 100 female work = 40 in packaging section

Among 520 female work =$\frac{40×520}{100}$ in packaging section= 208 in packaging section

60% of the total employees work in packaging section

Total employees work in packaging section = $\frac{60×520}{100}$ = 600 employees

The number of male employees work in packaging section = (600 — 208) = 392

The number of male employees don’t work in packaging section = (480 — 392) = 88 employees.
