Correct Answer: a) -2, 5
b) 1

Explanation:

a) (a — 3) =$\frac{10}{a}$

a²-3a-10=0

a²-5a+2a—10=0

a(a—5)+2(a—5)=0

(a+2) (a-5)=O

Either,(a+2)=0 or, a—5=0

a=—2,5

b) (2x² – 1) = (3x² — 2x)

3x²—2x²—2x+1=0

x²—2x+1=0

(x—1)²=0

x—1=0

x=1
