Correct Answer: 12.5 days.

Explanation:

(2 men + 3 boys)’s 10 days work = (3 men + 2 boys)’s 8 days works

.=> (20 men + 30 boys)’s 1 day work = (24 men + 16 boys)’s 1 day work.

=> 4 men = 14 boys

=> 1 men = $\frac{14}{4}$ boys

=> 2 men = $\frac{14}{4}$ X 2 boys = 7 boys.

2 men + 3 boys = 7 boys + 3 boys = 10 boys

and 2 men +1 boy= 7 boys + 1 boy = 8 boys

10 boys can do the work in = 10 days

8 boys can do the work in = $\frac{10\times 10}{8} = 2\frac{1}{2}$ Or, 12.5 days.
