Correct Answer: Present age of son is 15 years & Present age of A is 45 years.

Explanation:

Let, 5 years ago the age of son was x year

5 years ago the age of A was 4x year

Present age of son = (x + 5) years

Present age of A = (4x + 5) years

According to the question,2(x+5+15)=4x+5+15

2x + 40 = 4x + 20

2x = 20

x = 10

Present age of son = (10 + 5) or 1’5 years

Present age of A = (4 x 10 + 5) or 45 years
