Problem: In a two-digit number, the digit in the unit’s place is more than twice the digit in ten’s place by 1. If the digits in the unit’s place and the ten’s place are interchanged, difference between the newly formed number and the original number is less than the original number by 1. What is the original number?

Explanation:

ধরি, একক স্থানীয় অন্কটি = x

এবং দশক স্থানীয় = y

মূল সংখ্যাটি = (10y + x)

প্রথম প্রশ্নমতে, x = 2y + 1

দ্বিতীয় প্রশ্নমমতে, 10x + y – (10y+x) = 10y+x-1

=> 8x – 19y =-1

=> 8(2y+1) – 19y = -1 ……………….[x এর মান বসিয়ে]

y = 3

অতএব একক স্থানীয় অংকটি x = 2y + 1 = ( 2 x 3) + 1 = 7

অতএব মূল সংখ্যাটি =10y + x = (10×3) + 7

= 30 + 7 = 37
