Problem: In the figure, lines I and m are parallel. If  y – z = 60, then what is the value of x?

Correct Answer: ans: 120°

Explanation:

According to the question,y + z = 180° ……..(i)and y – z = 60° ……..(ii)

(i) + (iI)=>2y = 240°

y = 120°

Again, y° = S° = 120°

=>s°= x° = 120°
