Explanation:

The ratio of milk and water is 3 : 4

Milk = $84x\frac{3}{3+4}$ = 36

Water= $84x\frac{4}{3+4}$ = 36 = 48

lf3 liters each of milk & water is added then milk = 36 + 3 = 39‘

And water = 48 + 3 = 51

New ratio = Milk: Water = 39:51 = 13: 17
