Correct Answer: TK 90000

Explanation:

Total income = 10,400

Monthly salary = 5,000

Commission = (10,400 —- 5,000) = 5,400

Let, sales in a month = x

According to the question,

5% of 60,000 + 8% of (x – 60,000) = 5,400

=> 0.05 x 6,0000 + .08% x (x — 60,000) = 5,400

=> 3,000.00 + .08x- 4,800 = 5,400

=> 0.08x = 7,200

x =$\frac{7200 \cdot 100}{8}$ = 90,000
