Correct Answer: He used $\frac{9}{24}$ of his monthly salary for loan and rent

Explanation:

fit, the monthly salary be x;

Loan payment = $\frac{x}{6}$ and

Rent Payment =$\frac{x}{6}$ + 25% of $\frac{x}{6}$= $\frac{5x}{24}$

Total payment = $\frac{x}{6}$ + $\frac{5x}{24}$= $\frac{9x}{24}$
