Problem: Two partner A and B have 70% and 30% shares respectively in a business. After sometimes, a third partner C joined the business by investing TR. 10 lakh and thus having 20% share in the business. What percentage is the A’s share now in the business?

Correct Answer: ans: 56%.

Explanation:

A : B = 70 : 30

=> B =Loss%=$\frac{3A}{7}$

Now, 20% share in the business = 10,00000 Tk.

100% share in the business =$\frac{10,00000×100}{20}$= 50,00000 Tk.

Therefore, A + B + C = 50,00000
=>A +$\frac{3A}{7}$+10,00000 = 50,00000
=> A = 28,00000.

Amount of A share is 28,00000 Tk.

Percentage of share =$\frac{ 50,00000}{28,00000}$x100= 56%.
