Correct Answer: Tk. 650 & Tk. 900

Explanation:

Let, x tk is lent out at 8% interest(1550 -x) tk is lent out at 6% interest

According to question, X $\times$ 8% x 1 +(1550 – x) $\times$ 6% x 1=106

=> $\frac{8X}{100}$ + $\frac{(1550-x)x6}{100}$=106

=> 8x + 9300 – 6x =10600

=> 2x = 10600 – 9300

=> 2x= 1300

x = 650.650 tk is lent out at 8% interest and (1550 — 650) = 900Tk lent out at 6%
